more songs i noe =D

*train to be a soldier*

Train to be a soldier
fight for our land
once in our life
two years of our time

Have you ever wondered
why must we serve
because we love our land
and we want it to be free to be free

Looking all around us
people everywhere
while they are having fun
we are holding guns

Have you ever wondered
why must we serve
because we love our land
and we want it to be free to be free

*Air-borne rangers* (dont know if we need to know, since i know so just write it down)

C-130 rolling down the street
air-borne rangers took a little trip
stand up hook up shuffle to the door
jump by the count of number 4

If my shoot does'nt open wide
i got a spare one by my side
if my spare does'nt open wide
i'll be the first to reach the ground

If i land in a Russian war
bury me with a Russian gun
if i land in a Vietnam war
bring me back to Singapore

Tell my mama i've done my best
silver wing upon my chest
tell my girl i've done my best
now it's time to take a rest

(last line i followed Damai Ncc,cause the one i know is a bit pervertic -.-)

and the song for the song named*unknown title* is *left toe, right toe*

credits to Damai ncc website

serveral common songs that we sing during runs or trainings...

here are the lyrics as requested by wen jie
if you all want to know the tune we can try singing it next training..

"Knock It Down"

Hello, I am your sergeant,
and you are all my men.
You will listen to exactly what I say, understand?
(Understand? Yes, Sergeant!)
When I ask you to eat, you eat;
when I ask you to sleep, you sleep.
Do you know what I will do to you if you screw up my plan?

Knock it down!
Knock it down!
Get your hands on the ground and knock it down!
Knock it down!
Knock it down!
Just take it like a man and knock it down!

If you don't have a girlfriend at least now you got it wife.
she just turned 21, and so you guard her with your life.
She's a brand new model, and she shoots very far. (Whoa!)
She is made in Singapura and her name is SAR.

SAR! 21!
SAR! 21!
She's the new rifle of Singapura!
SAR! 21!
SAR! 21!
Don't trifle with this rifle,
SAR! 21!

When I was in BMT,
I used to weigh a ton.
My PTI say, "Ooi, my grandmother can walk faster than you run!"
Last time I can't do chin-ups, but now I can do five!
I'm so proud of my achievements, all thanks to PTI.
Why so slow?
Drop twenty!
Now you run twenty times around the SOC!
Twist my arm, sprain my knee,
Go ask MO give me Attend C!

Knock it down!
Knock it down!
Get your hands on the ground and knock it down!
Knock it down!
Knock it down!
Just take it like a man and knock it down!

I used to hear those stories that army life was rough.
I used to be like "gu niang" but army made me tough.
After two years of training, now then I know why.
When the enemy starts firing,
When the enemy starts firing,
When the enemy starts firing,
You don't have time to hide!

So Knock it down!
Knock it down!
If you don't want to get killed, just knock it down!
Knock it down!
Knock it down!
I'm on semi-automatic, knock it down!
So Knock it down! Knock it down!
If you don't want to get killed, just knock it down!
Knock it down!
Knock it down!
I'm on semi-automatic,
so you better knock it down!

"When The Cold Wind Blows"

In the early morning run
With a full pack on my back
With an aching in my head
And my back is full of sweat
I'm a long long way from home
And i miss my lover so
In the early morning run
When the cold wind blows

When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
and it blows blows blows

In the early morning swim
With a life vest on my back
With an aching in my arm
And my back is full of sweat
I'm a long long way from home
And i miss my lover so
In the early morning run
When the cold wind blows

When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
and it blows blows blows

In the early morning range
With a helmet on my head
With an aching in my neck
And my back is full of sweat
I'm a long long way from home
And i miss my lover so
In the early morning run
When the cold wind blows

When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
When the cold wind blows
and it blows blows blows

To all part alpha cadets

Firstly i thank you for taking your time off to read this letter.

Serveral issues have come to our attention and i would like to talk to you all through this post.

Firstly, i would like to start with the most important issue, your attitude.
I understand that we have been saying you may treat us as friends outside training and not
sergeants csms etc.
However, i must say that we would still expect some respect from you all. It does not mean that
you can say anything you like or start scolding any part cs or seniors be it among yourselves or
in their/your blog.
If you have any complains about us, feel free to approach us, CLTs or even the teachers and not just talk behind our backs. I am sure you would not like your juniors to start scolding you all when you take over in future.
This may not apply to everyone of you all reading this but i hope you will think about whatever i have just said.

Next, your drills..
Please go and improve your drills if you know that you are not good. In two months time, all of you will become part B and will also be promoted. If you are going to show this standard to your future part a cadets then i can adivse you to forget about your promotion. Anyone that needs help or guidance can approach any of your PS.

Thirdly, studies.
The exams are over and i believe you all are getting your results back. Those who know that you are performing well enough please use the upcoming holidays to improve on that subject.
Once again, if you need help you can also approach any of the part cs. Those with BGR and are not doing well in your studies, i advise you to find a way to improve on it. We will be speaking to the ones with this problem soon.

Fourth, training & behaviour
We can see that some of you all are putting in effort it but we can also see those who are not. If you find training too tough, please feedback to us so that we can modify it. As i have mentioned above, all of you are becoming lance corporals soon. You certainly do not one to see a group of LCPs reporting sick and your juniors still enduring through their training. Its all in your mind whether you want to endure on or give up and in this case i am refering to those who tend to give up easily without trying.

According to what Mr Chua had told us, he has received complains about cadets among you from teachers about your behaviour. I believe you all know who you are and do not need me to mention names. Being in a Uniformed Group, i do not think that anyone should have problems with discipline so these people please take note.

Lastly, your bonding.

It has come to our attention that there are cliques in your platoon. It is okay to have them as long as you do not isolate yourselves from the rest. However from what we have noticed, there are people who have few friends in NCC and are "left-out" in your part. Again you should know who they are and who you are, please try as much as possible to mix around. You all are going to be together in the next two years and it will do your part no good if you continue to stay this way.

With that, i would like to conclude by appealing to you all to think about what i have just said. These are the issues brought up by Mr Chua and Part Cs. We hope you will be able to resolve them yourselves before it requires us to step in.

Thank You
Ming Xuan
